The City of Joondalup is excited to welcome Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company to the Redmond Theatre, Prendiville Performing Arts Centre for Bilya Kaatijin. Bilya Kaatijin (which means “Fresh Water Knowledge” in Noongar) is the fourth and final story in Yirra Yaakin’s Kaatijin series. Journeying through global Dreaming stories the show teaches its audiences about the importance of acknowledging and understanding other cultures, the power of empathy and connection and the impacts of climate change to land and water in our communities.
